Plain-English summary

Use Cache responsibly. Pay your bill. Don't do anything illegal with it. We'll try our best to keep it running. Ontario law applies.

1. Acceptance

  • By using Cache, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
  • These Terms apply to everyone using Cache — individuals, businesses, and their authorized users.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract.
  • You're responsible for anything that happens under your account. Keep your password safe.
  • You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

  • Don't use Cache for illegal activity, money laundering, or tax evasion.
  • Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent our security.
  • Don't impersonate others or create accounts on behalf of someone without authorization.
  • Don't upload malware, infringing content, or anything you don't have the right to share.

4. Billing

  • Paid plans bill monthly or annually in advance. Prorated on upgrade.
  • No refunds for partial periods, except where required by law.
  • Your beta access is free; when we launch billing, we'll give 30 days' notice.

5. Termination

  • You may cancel anytime from account settings. Your data is available for 90 days post-cancellation.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, after notice where reasonable.

6. Disclaimers

  • Cache is provided "as is." We don't guarantee uninterrupted service, though we try hard.
  • Cache is not a bank, accountant, or financial advisor. Consult professionals for advice.
  • We're not liable for tax filings you submit based on Cache's data — you are.

7. Changes

  • We may update these Terms. Material changes get 30 days' email notice.
  • Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

8. Governing law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
  • Disputes go to courts in Toronto, unless you're a consumer with different statutory rights.
